Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries Season 2 Episode 1: Murder Most Scandalous - Sneak Peak

The second season of Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries kick off with Murder Most Scandalous. Like two episodes in season 1 this episode is not based on a book by Kerry Greenwood but according to the Australian Television Information Archive the storyline is:

"When Jack's ex-father-in-law, Deputy Commissioner George Sanders, is implicated in the brutal murder of a prostitute, Jack is determined to clear his name. Despite strict instructions from Jack not to meddle in his case, Phryne decides to perfect her 'fan dance' in order to go undercover at the gentleman's club of the notorious Madam Lyon."

This episode airs on Friday 6th September at 8.30 on ABC1.

  1. I am intrigued with the ending to Murder Most Scandalous. It all happened so quickly. But what was George Sanders doing in the warehouse where Burke was killed? I was left wondering had he been doing a deal with Burke? Was he so innocent after all? Jack and Phryne didn't raise these questions with him. Is that cloud of suspicion deliberate? I sort of assume so. Comment welcome.
